Default Music streaming

My free trial with Apple Music is ending soon and I have got used to Music on demand. I’m now torn between keeping my Apple subscription going which will be £9.99 a month or swap onto Amazon music which I have no idea how it works and only pay £7.99 a month?
I can easily download all music from illegal places but it’s more of a convenience when you can play any song/album you like.

If you have experience between both or had to choose between Apple or Amazon who would you pick?

If you purchase much from Amazon, then get a prime membership, that gets you Amazon music, but not music unlimited.
Plus free fast delivery of course

I’ve bounced around all of the current music on demand providers, in the end I settled on Spotify but even then that was only because their app is better.

Not as bad as you may think. Sure a single hit earns a pittance but if an artist/group build up an international following and their income is not diluted by record company deals then Spotify can generate a few thousand per month as it's so much an international scene. It's often a popular song which brings in 80% of the revenue with most from US, then UK and parts of Europe.

Spotify - I think the 'related artists' function is superior to Deezer's 'Mix', well it was for me. It's one of the main ways that I use to discover and rediscover artists.

Spotify is pretty good, u can use the free version or the subscription version.

I couldnt give 2 ***** for the artist really, if theyre music is on spotify then theyve already made enough money and no doubt have a lot more of it than i do so id rather keep the pennies in my own pocket given the choice.

A mate of mine has one of his bands albums on Spotify - they are certainly not millionaires!

I like Spotify, connects to mine and the wife's car, can control it on my laptop, tablet, fridge etc. from my phone and the family subscription costs like $13 or something.

I also have Amazon but I just don't use it.
