Kids and mobiles
For a start I hate mobiles with a passion anyway. Up there with facebook
My ex decided for the kids 12th Birthday (twins) to get them a mobile. Result?
Two utter feckin zombies. They have gone from brilliant, funny, happy kids to two utter ridiculous zombies in the space of minutes of getting them
Bloody ridiculous but sad. But hey ho.Such is modern parenting

Was just saying the other day, that the modern smartphone is the most 'ironic' thing ever invented. In that its 'primary purpose' - you know, of actually phoning and interacting with others - is the least used of all its features!
Plus the double irony of so called 'social' media actually creating 'lonesome zombies', as you cite. And quite often, aggressive, wholly dysfunctional/anti-social ones at that lol.
Aaah, human 'advancement'........

Tablets and game consoles are just as bad they turn them on and its game over you get more sense out of the dog. My son is 7 and asked for a phone for his birthday because his cousin has one but that was not going to happen. We have a rule that no consoles or tablets ect on the weekend till 3 pm then for a max of 2 hrs in the week from 5 till 630 if hes good and done any homework ect. May seem a bit strict but not having him staring at a screen for hours on end and grunting at me every time i talk to him. How can we expect them to learn how to interact and socailise with people if they dont go out and do it. Social media just isnt the same
