looking on the net it seems its only "class 3 " that are allowed ? , but iv twice come up behind someone with no visible flashing orange light gently meandering from inside curb to mid road to turn right ( obviously with no indicators)

it's quite complicated but you are right. Class 3 up to 8 mph but with lights, indicators etc. Got to be an idiot to drive without indicators.

Maybe the indicators are down at the bottom next to Orange light ... Nothing showing

I really hope he doesn't attempt this at dusk

I know of a lot of older men who use them to go to the bar then ride it back drunk to save on taxi fares. I'm sure as it's an electric vehicle it will have the same legal prosecution as a car does for drink driving.
