"Flame suit on"
Levine does have a point..... The practice of Religious circumcision in this country should be investigated. But the "PC" mob wont like it....... Also the media dont help always... They have their own agenda .
Quick message to the Judge... If they (Levine etc)had 21000 unpaid parking tickets, you would have given them longer than 3-5
years.
You judges deserve the "Kicking"
"Flame suit off"
Not a lot can make me cry.......

Just a few of my thoughts after watching it,
1/ I think given his charges, Levine should have stayed away from subjects related to young girls genitals however valid his point was.
2/ The programme makers went a bit far with all the footage, blanked out or not it was a bit too explicit. The interview with his niece will stay with me forever as will the last film about the little boy.
3/ Its funny how they all looked like pervs, that bag that Levine was carrying just said "Kiddie Fiddler" all over it, and he also was seen in one of those train drivers hats.
4/ Im not a violent man and detest the mob mentality and the stadard "Cut the Bollocks off" line wears a bit thin, but in the case of Levine I have NEVER wanted to punch somebody as much as that smug, opinionted, evil, obnoxious **** in all my life and how those coppers didnt I will never know.
5/ I think the Police Officers in the film came across really well, hard working, insightful and dedicated. Its good to know that they are doing an important job such as theirs so well.
6/ Must be scary for those who work with kids as everybody will question their motives, I just hope programmes like that do not stop people who give up their time to coach football or the like for the right reasons.
7/ I am glad I have watched it as I feel as a parent you should know what goes on as it is all ammunition to protect your kids but I do feel hurt myself after watching it, I was in quite a good mood until I saw it.

Uncle Buck
We are discusing the whole programme . Levine seems to be its focus point.
I still believe he has a point with reference to the media about the Circumcism issue
£20.00. to anyone that gives that judge a slap.

I reckon the judge must have been a paedophile, otherwise howe can he justify letting these people off so lightly.
I was thinking as well that maybe this programme was shown much to early. My two girls were up in their rooms when I said to my Mrs "Christ I hope their not watching this". But I dont really know whether they should have been allowed to see it. We are always telling then to be careful, dont talk to strangers etc so I thought why not let them watch this so they can see for themselves what evil *******s there are out there.
In the end I did not let them watch it but maybe I should have. I just dont know.
Another thing, most people get the impression that these people are just dirty old men in raincoats. I was doing a job in a prison recently when they brought the nonces out for their excercise. The warden told me they consisted of people from all sorts of profession from solicitors, bankers, postman, etc but very few of the dirty raincoat type. Shows how you can get the wrong impression of people doesnt it.
Chip.

These people are "ill" and treatment must be found for them. The only way prison will do them any good is if they are never allowed out.
But we know that will not happen, they will just come out and offend again, unless they are treated or medically castrated.
I dont want to join the "kill them" mentality.

I think if it actually happened to your child, then more of you would join the "kill them" brigade.
The love you have for your own child is like nothing else. It is unconditional and you can never feel that way about a partner etc. (IMHO)
These people need treatment and punishment and if only there was a way to do both, then that should be done. It did actually cross my mind too that perhaps the judge had tendancies as well and as a result, he had some sort of sympathy for the perps.
I wouldn't want any of them living in my street! They should at least be named and shamed!

The purpose of prison is to punish people for their crimes against society and the rehabilitate them into that society. I'm sorry but I'm of the firm belief that however long you lock one of these guys away for they will always be a threat to society because they were wired wrong on the production line.
If you accept that.. what do you do with them? Clearly our judiciary doesn't think sending them to prison is the right thing as they will have a hard time... boo hoo..
As I can see it, for the good of society, not the sinning individual that preys on kids, they should be allowed the option of castration (removal of sexual urges), or lethal injection. Second offence, mandatory lethal injection. As Spock says 'the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or one'

Trouble is these days everyone has to have an excuse for doing these things whether its down to being abused as a child or from a broken family etc, social services is always a good one to blame as well. Just accept these people are damn evil and should be punished severely.
If more people were punished severley for hideous crimes then I am sure there would be a lot less of them commited. All we get these days is talk about rehabilitation and community care. Why then do so many re'commit when released.
An eye for an eye I say.
Chip.

Problem is, it becomes a short step to start fales accusations and giving the lethal injection to anyone you don't like or agree with. (see also *****, Stalin etc.)
Look how many poor old sods have been accused of this crime, and were entirely innocent.
However, I concur in cases where the detritus brag about it, put 'em down.
The fact they were subjected to abuse themselves does not make it OK. So if you have your car nicked it's OK to go and steal someone else's?
Pull the other one.

Have to say I haven't watched the programmes - really not my idea of being 'entertained or informed'. However, the Telegraph made a very good point in its editorial after the first programme saying how this latest documentary vindicated the Brasseye 'spoof documentary' of a few years ago. Somany people missed the point of that show. It wasn't trying to belittle the subject or turn it into a joke, it was a comment on the production of such programmes. Judging by the comments on this thread, I reckon Chris Morris got it about right.
Chris
PS: There is a very good review of the Brasseye documentary here
