Don't do it, a friend had one in the US it was a terrible thing to drive around in unless you're out killing people. This was the full military one not the fake things.

Him
Which one are you interested in?
The H1, H2 or H3.
I see all three types regularly here in Abu Dhabi.
The H1 is the rarest and they are huge - especially width.
The H2 is the most common and looks great in certain colours and with big wheels.
The H3 are a bit weedy in comparison!
Cheers

Too big for UK roads IMHO. Plus you likely to get the wrong sort of attention.

Definitely not my cup of tea (especially with UK fuel prices and UK-width country lanes), but if you're really struggling to find RHD examples in Britain, your best bet will probably be direct-import from Australia or Japan.

Dozens of the things here (although not many of the pick-up style ones)

I'd tend to agree, looks normal out here but in the UK it would just be crazy. Seem to be reasonably reliable from what I read, though.

Many new builds in the UK seem to have garages which are so narrow you'd only be able to enter your average hatch through the sunroof lol.

Have a look on YouTube as clarkson reviewed on on top gear and it's bound to be on there. One thing I do remember about the review was that when he put his foot down he got 1 mile to the gallon. I think it would be cheaper to get taxis everywhere

We don't talk about town mpg (4),. I don't go into town/cities unless there is urgent need
