Used to be a common thing in Northern Ireland.
People were always inclined to park cars in the correct places as a result.
I remember once, myself and a colleague were setting up a new computer system in an office in the centre of Belfast, back in the day we brought the stuff with us.
So, off we go, park the car outside the office block on double yellows, hazard lights on, and being carrying up a load of PC's - estate car, back seats down and full of stuff.
Just remember getting called to say the bomb disposal/police were outside and preparing to do a number on the car - to say we turned white was a understatement
