I'm not sure about that. As we well know, there's no evidence that hoping can change things. Furthermore, some can only be happy if they're irrational and anti-evidence. For that reason, I wish everyone on SN a very happy new year, may some remain delusional or real- I don't care. Whatever makes people happy, as long as what makes them happy doesn't harm themselves and others.

Postscript: There is ample evidence that anti-evidence people have harmed others; physically as well as mentally. We do know that.

As long as everyone's happy without any destruction, that's all that matters.
