Dont think it is on telly mate - are you mixing this up with a film called Eagle Huntress, released last week? Google Aisholpan the eagle huntress, lots of trailers and behind the scenes stuff on youtube.

Ignore the **** taking perfectionists - was a serious question? I met a bloke called Jason Deasey at a hotel in Ballina (Mount Falcon Hotel) who is the resident falconer. Fairly sure he was originally from Cork, hence my question. I did a tour think with him called the 'hawk walk' where you fly the bird (Gos Hawk) and work with the dog to retrieve the quarry. He was beyond committed to his hobby / profession, but a top bloke.

Couple of pics - This is Jason (left!), I think this is his Saker falcon.

This is the same bird on the ground - where it chased a lure on a light rope.

And doing what birds do best!

This is his Gos hawk landing on my right arm - for a medium size bird, it lands so gently and gracefully and in total silence.

Birds of prey i love them. I used to live near the Birds of prey in Newent Glos a really good day out. Buzzards are my favourites i love their mournful cry.
