Depends, were you a big fan of Top Gear with those 3? If not the TGT probably isn't for you.

I watched it until the 'boys' started telling Californians in a tent that the hood is the bonnet, the trunk is the boot etc etc. Clarkson looks tired and, in truth, knackered, and the other two are not much better. But perhaps it improves later.

Wow that opening scene was absolutely brilliant.
Not seen the rest though. Anyone know an alternative means of watching it all?

After the opening section, I wanted to own that Blue Ford Mustang. God that looked good.

Almost crashing the P1 was also rather funny. Genuine fear on his face.

Reading the comments I was encouraged to watch the rest of the prog and it improved after the first tent part. I don't know how they can follow those three hypercars. Nothing can compare unless they can get their hands on some F1 cars, although all three would then die for sure! That would make good tv though.

I don't think Evans is a ginger prat.It was just the wrong show for him.

TG won't be the same since the boys left and don't think it ever will be.IMO it is dead.

Will have a look at this, but as to the opening clip, great save for the sycophantic way May gazed at Clarkson * shudder *

I was never one to moan about TG when they were on it but mannnnn....on the whole of it, episode 2 of TGT is terrible!

what a surprise, bring out a barnstorming ep1 and everyone loses their ****, "it's the best thing ever" (actually it was only good due to the hypercars and the opening scene was impressive). Then every ep afterwards will be cack, standard.

I think probably spending the same as bbc proportionately , on letting these middle aged goons get their kicks ( and coining it to boot )

but then have pay for bbc as well

the cost for the series seem to be 160 mil

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/on-demand...rksons-new-sh/

it says the opening sequence of series one was 2.5 mil alone

I'm a big fan of the trio But I thought that ep2 was crap, it's very fake and very cringe worthy in places.

haven't watched either episode apart from the trailer of the opening 5 mins (all very self referential)

but the feedback from the 1st one seemed to be very positive

maybe the second one just focuses the mind on the fact that it's simply the "same old same old"

and the fact that they have moved to a different channel exacerbates this

or is the problem with the 2nd episode that it strayed from the script to much

or am I overthinking this !!!! lol
