Got a flight tomorrow...anything worth downloading to watch?
As title.
Preferably free, but I'm willing to buy a film to watch...usually into sci-fi/action/comedy/comic book heros etc.
Slight issue is I am in Spain, so whilst I can fiddle my IP address location I'd rather not as I'm trying to stay legit if I can : halo:

I've been watching RAKE on Netflix. Didn't like it at first but actually very funny with some just about believable court room stuff. Australian I think. Watchable length episodes. Safe flight. Space station? David

No, not true, and a lot of people disagree. It was an outstanding film and not just for it's genre. YOU may have thought it was not that great and that's just fine. But it was generally hailed as a very good film.

Good that you now have Netflix, David. Do watch Breaking Bad, you'll like it. I've met no one who said they watched it and didn't like it. Brother in-law watched it even twice! That's going a bit too far imo. Too much time in his hands since he had upgraded his job.

Well I did something stupid....I went and tried to buy/rent Deadpool on Amazon videos.....
Turns out now you can only download it to a iPhone/pad for offline viewing or Android, Last time I used it you could download on a PC. FFS and the industry wonders why people do illegal downloads when they put in stupid restrictions like this for people who pay and try it to do it legit
So with time pressing on, downloading some Big Bang, Flash and Luther from some random website that I found in google....f**k knows if its legit, probably not as BBC and C4 players are blocked over here unless you mask your IP
Unless someone can tell me how I can get a film transferred on my iPhone's amazon app to a PC. iTunes says "no".

So you disagree with my opinion but use other people's opinion to belittle it. Just because lots of people thought it was good doesn't make it a good film....
Much the same as lots of people didn't think it was a good film.
What a stupid thing to post....

Sure, sure it's an awful movie .. and we're sorry for offending you and having a different opinion.
Ryan Reynold’s smart-talking antihero makes a profanely amusing addition to the X-Men universe. Full review
Mark Kermode·The Guardian
The sheer number of dick jokes will soon numb you to their impact, but this is a fun, if patchy, alternative to the glut of ‘the world is about to end unless we do something’ comic-book films. Full review
Jonathan Pile·Empire
A scabrously funny big-screen showcase for the snarkiest of Marvel's comic-book creations. Full review
Justin Chang·Variety
Still, Deadpool is party time for action junkies and Reynolds may just have found the role that makes his career. Full review
Peter Travers·Rolling Stone
Deadpool, much like its source material, is an irreverent, bloody, and riotous twist on the superhero genre - a must-see comic book movie experience. Full review
Ben Kendrick·Screen Rant
Deadpool is going to endear a whole new audience to the vivid and weird character, while once again demonstrating the tremendous opportunity for variety in the comic book movie genre. Full review

Deadpool is a feverishly eager-to-please comic-book movie about a super-villain who suits up like a superhero. Full review

With great power comes great responsibility. That's what Spider-Man taught us. But Deadpool is as irresponsible as they come. Full review

I have my opinion. You post other people's opinions. It doesn't make them any more right than my opinion....
Just because other people like it doesn't make it a better film in my opinion. If that is what makes it work for you go ahead....

Yes seen Breaking Bad and good stuff. Does go on a bit and street language does wear a bit thin but overall excellent. Also I thought The Killing was pretty good. Become a bit of a cult thing in USA I believe.
Can I buy into Sky films for a modest monthly fee or do I have to join the full Sky thing at 80 odd quid a month?
Just chucking out my weekly rubbish mail and saw I have a free offer from Sainsbury's for Deadpool and a couple of other films. Might give that a shot. Still housebound with a leg in plaster so time on my hands at the moment.
Footnote. Found The Long Good Friday on Netflix. Bob Hoskins at his best and a sexy Helen Mirren - one of my all time favourites.

Hi TH, What impresses me about Netflix is customer service. One minute to respond to a call and someone helpful at other end.

I think you should give Deadpool a shot. I'm definitely going to watch it. Some good reviews here as well as from the media.
Also, hope you get better soon. Best wishes.

Blimey, kicked off abit in 'ere 'ay ? LOL
Ended up watch some episodes of "The Flash" series one, which I hastily downloaded off www.adder.tv in the morning after finding that Amazon's iPhone app somehow blocks video from being airplayed to a Mac/PC and there is no other way to download it to play offline on s Mac/PC

I thoroughly enjoyed it and it got good reviews, so where as I understand it was not to your taste, the fact that the majority of people liked it (Opinion represented by writers/polls) makes it a good film.
Either way what does it matter? Just don't watch it again.
