........how can Joe Public stop YOUR pet from fouling in his garden?
I have three doing so at the moment, and trust me, I WILL stop them. There is cat-crap all over and no, the dirty animals do NOT bury it.
I'd like a nice cat-friendly way first please.

Our cat was crapping down the side of next door's house in the gravel bit (fortunately we are very good friends, so it wasn't a problem), so we put a load of orange peel down there (though I believe any citrus peel will do), and it stopped immediately.
Unusual for them to do it out in the open though, so it may be difficult to cover your lawn in peel! But it they are keeping to the borders, should be too difficult.
Failing that, a gun

Get an old wall brick. Put some pepper on it, the cat will sniff it, sneeze and knock itself out when it's head hits the brick!!

A few rubber snakes might do the job, failing that claymores facing towards the boundaries so you don't accidentally kill yourself

I've got some razor wire on order to be delivered tomorrow (with any luck) from these guys: http://www.birminghambarbedtape.co.uk/
Not to keep the cats out (I wish my problems were that trivial), but it will do that as a secondary benefit.
One has taken to using the one planter as a litter tray and making a mess over teh patio (caught on CCTV).
Of course what I'd like to do is trap it, so I can read its ID tag (assuming it has one ...should be law ) And post the feaces to the owner with a covering letter kindly asking for them to dispose of it.

No. Yam Yam land. Its getting like that though.
I have a £5000 insurance excess for contents AND damage. So its a necessity to protect the home from further damage, as its going to come straight out of my pocket.
Sadly after the last attempt, I need a visble deterrant to tell them to f**k off and rob somewhere else instead.

The pepper and citrus peel have always worked on my cats. They now seem to like the tall cooch grass at the back of the garden out of sight from anyone.
I had a Siamese years ago that we trained to use the toilet. We place the litter tray next to the toilet and slowly raised it up using books. Eventually moved the tray over the sh#tter. We removed the tray completely after a few weeks and blow me down she used the bog. She only fell in once.

Yeah but the week before we were at a house party and he fell asleep so I sprayed a full tin of air freshener on his head and set it on fire. Not the best idea I know but when I was pissed out of it there wasn't a better idea in the world and my acumpleses thought the same.
Bb gun seems quite tame really

Ahah, lol - I genuinely laughed at that
But seriously we have a similar problem - neighbours cat bullies our little one - so much that we have had to put a cat litter tray in our house, despite having a huge fvcking garden
The neighbours cat is a big cvntish bully
Glad someone has got in the Lion Dung - saved me from posting it !!!!!
I have thought of catching the bstard and soaking, and I mean really really soaking it in a bucket of water - heard that works
The t0ssers called Ravi - so anyone is welcome to have a pop if they come across it
Someone said to urinate on the borders - but that sounds a bit weird, plus we have a big border to defend so could take years and leave me open to accusations of being a pervert

Lol, mmmm - this breeder lived in a bungalow in Norfolk with 7 full grown dogs
Jeez, tbh I was quite proud of my wife she was well outside her comfort zone
Beautiful dogs though
And yet they vet you - wtf
