My girlfriend is off to look at a second hand (R reg) Vauxhall corsa tonight as I am fed up of her using my scoob as a runabout to the shops!

Is there anything she should look out for on this model that could be the sign of bad things to come? It is a 1.2 with 48,000 on the clock.

There must be loads of corsa boys on here

Wife has an M reg 1.4 5door GLSi

No problems really with it except a petrol leak which was a split pipe.. and a £20 fix.. currently around 55k miles and no other problems.. pretty solid cars..

Mate has a 1.2 V reg I think it is and he drives it a bit hard and does lots of miles and has had a couple of minor problems but nothing to worry about.

Just the usual really, you want full service history.. red paint work tends to fade so unless you are a fan of polishing avoid it.

They are both standard cars so wouldn't know about modding them..
each to there own...
