Motors TV has disappeared from my Sky menu tonight and was ok last night. Phoned Sky up and the incompetent guy couldn't shed any light on it. Anyone else got the same problem?

I think that they've suddenly vanished, their twitter feed has gone quiet and the channel is gone.

 

Im watching the motox on there now so it still working

 

It's gone from TV guide app

 

Well mines working enduro racing from france has just started so dont worry must be a tech prob from ur service provider

Its become an internet channel.

 

mine has gone on to the red button.

 

This is how to get it back on Sky;

Motors TV
Sky Currently still broadcasting off the EPG on 11.082 H, 22.000, 5/6, DVB-S, QPSK.
You have to manually enter it in your sky box.
Services, Options, Add Chnls, enter details above and follow the messages.
To view it Services, Options, Other Ch, click down, and channel appears

Cheers bud Wonder why Sky have dropped it.

 

My sky box won't allow me to change the frequency to 11.082GhZ, can change all other settings. Can't get it!

 

Try typing the numbers in using the key pad.

 

Probably due to a lack of viewing numbers.

 

Acco ding to the Skiy forums, Sky didn't drop it, Motors tv pulled it off Sky.

 

To be more accurate the French tv company who own the rights changed the package they give away for free so Sky pulled it.

 

Off to torrents then for my WRC coverage

 

Thankfully BT also show the V8 Supercars Live and in full so I wasn't sweating it, but good to know how to get it back on Sky

Why? If you haven't got bt sports then Chanel 5 have the highlights coverage, and apparently show the live power stages as well.

Edit, just looked at Chanel 5 website and it's just the rally gb live power stage they are showing this year, along with a pre event show and an hour long post event show on the Monday after the rallies.

 

Yep exactly. Plus adding the channel manually on sky isn't really anygood, as you cant set a reminder for it or record it. The Motorstv coverage was sh1te anyway

Apparently it's back on channel 447.

 

Yip it's back on Sky menu just in time for Friday night rally coverage. Irish tarmac rallying beats WRC for me any day. There is too much motocross and crap like tractor pulling on the channel. Wish they do some behind the scenes car prep on many of the excellent specialist in the UK (or anywhere else).

 

I'm going to stick with bt sport's coverage it blows the motorstv effort's out of the water!
