Well, we have a man working with us who also fancies Sarah Palin; like our Lozgti1. When he was on the tour in China, he met a very pretty girl over there. When this Chinese girlfriend of his arrived here to join him, over the Christmas period, he wrote on the Christmas wish list for her to go shopping, to buy him a book on Sarah Palin as his Christmas gift. It was Sarah Palin's auto or a biography or something like that. He thought the girlfriend wouldn't go mad as she could hardly read or understand English. The girl went out and bought the presents for him, as asked by him, and was quite chuffed with her efforts. On Christmas day, upon unwrapping, he found that it was the Micheal Palin's book on Sahara instead. You can imagine how down he felt. He didn't show it, though. He's now stuck with that book. His excitement about Sarah Palin isn't the same any more as long as that book stays on his book shelf, he says. He'd get right bollocking if he chucks it out. His missus is still here in the UK until April the 1st, so there's no other choice for him, for now. He's very upset.

 

Assuming that's a true story, your work-mate has some pretty major issues vis-a-vis his life priorities.
