Martin Hadland top speed record (final update) - 194.7mph!
hi peeps the Reyland cossie today did thses times
0-60 in 2.89s
0-100 in 6.06s
Quarter in 10.66 @ 136.95mph
194.7mph!
He didn't want to push the car any further as it had done three 193+ runs, so left it at that, as air temps didn't reduce by enough of an amount.
Martin was using normal road tyres and normal 98 ron fuel just to test the car

Was this done at bruntingthorpe? And was there any reason for doing it?

Whilst we have some Ford Owners reading this, I don't suppose anybody knows what size socket I will require to remove the rear discs on a 2wd Sapphire Cossie??
Basically, I need to change the rear discs.
19mm or 3/4 in old money if my memory serves me right,

If they same as 3dr (90% sure they are), they held on by NOTHING but the wheel and caliper!
The centre nut is the hub, and there are no others, once you unbolted caliper.
If it dont come off (they hardly ever do) its seized on, get a rubber hammer and smack away, in the end the entire disk snapped off the bell part on one side before it came off, lol. After many many wacks itl unstick itself in end.
