Default The Stone Roses at The Etihad Stadium, anyone manage to get tickets ?

I've not bought concert tickets online before, i was lucky to get 2 tickets for the Stone Roses concert at the Etihad Stadium on the Saturday 18th June. Got them via the Ticketmaster website, it was a lottery what seats you got as you couldn't chose before hand, well that's if you were lucky to get any seats at all. I had 6 browsers open applying for tickets, 5 drew a blank so i felt lucky really to get 2 tickets.

Just wondering if anyone else got lucky, apparently they sold out within 30 mins of going on sale from what i just read.

Nope has 2 phones on the go, soon as I got through I just got offered tickets that had already been bought and advertised for resale...Cheapest standing ticket(with restrictions) was £137.50!!!
I saw them 26 years ago and it was £13 lol!!

THIS is what really pi55es me off. It is clearly not a genuine fan that bought a couple of tickets and found circumstances changed meaning they couldn't go. This is an organised rip off and it needs to be stopped.

The worst thing about it is the company is actually owned by ticketmaster and the face value tickets on the site will be marked as sold out yet the sister company will still have thousands available at twice the price it's legal fraud, your actually better off using a tout on the night which is mental

But you can still log onto Ticketmaster now and get face value tickets?

If tickets go on sale at 9am on ticketmaster getmein will start selling them an 09.05 at at least a 30% mark up while people are still queuing up on the ticket master site and getmein is a website which is owned by ticketmaster and usually your screen will keep refreshing till they sell out then they will try and redirect you to the getmein site there a shower of b@stards

I've noticed something on the Ticketmaster website that seems to be crafty with the way they are selling these tickets.

I did some searches for tickets for another mate who is looking to go on the first night which is the wednesday, i looked on sunday for him and most days this week. On sunday all you could get was cr@p seats in the yellow part which is way up in the sky and mostly at the opposite end to the stage, similar on monday. On tuesday some slightly better seats came up for the wednesday night gig, it wasn't offering the cr@p seats anymore. Today they were slightly better again.

The way it looks to me is they have been offering the cr@p seats for a few days while the hysteria was still hot knowing that people will snap anything up as they just want to be there, then once they have got rid of a load of ones they would normally struggle to get takers for they have started to offer better seats now. Have they held a lot of better seats back until all the cr@p ones have been taken ?
