Virgin media website down?
Erm... yes it is. I have been seeing this for 4 days now when I try to see my email on the Virgin media web site. That was what I saw 3 minutes ago from posting this.

They've moved their email servers from Google to something else and f*ck*d it up in the process. I've had no emails on and off for a few days, now I get everything in duplicate. Bloody perfect.

Why does anybody use an ISP email address? Just use Google s gmail or if you must, hotmail. Or host your own email.
If you move ISP, old emails lost, no forwarding and have to do a blanket email telling everyone your new email.

The website may be up and running but the email client is still down. It can't be single user as others say they are having the same issue.
I wouldn't be so bothered but I need to print off some receipts for some overdue accounts and I need to go back nearly two years and delete and print.
If it were recent stuff I wouldn't care.
Different computer and this is what I was seeing just before posting this.

Email isn't down, I'm logged in right now ..
two people here have an issue, could be by chance. You could be part of failed migration? have you tried pop or imap?
I've literally just logged in and out a few times, all fine.

Area specific for you? I'm not a pc idiot and I know when sites are down. I did get logged in today and had 11.000 emails to sort thru and what a pain it was. The server went down lots of times and I only managed to delete 3000 in 4 hours due to a new email setup where as before I could of had the lot sorted in 1 hour.

You're not alone and I don't know why anyone would basically accuse you of being daft! I'm not daft and my Virgin Media emails have been all over the place, and I received an apology from them to say they were transfering their servers from Google to elsewhere and that's what was causing the problem. Although they appear to have sorted a bit I am still getting every email in duplicate, which with several hundred a day is a really not helpful.

He's just being a drama queen

There's a migration underway, which could be impacting him, but to find that out he would need to call up and log it as a single user. Technically the migration shouldn't hurt anyone.
The site being down is a completely different situation.
