Best scene in a film
Comedy ,action,thriller,vintage,doesn't matter!
For me
1.Uma Thurman in Kill Bill. digging herself out after being buried alive.Had my heart going and claustrophobia in full overdrive.lol
2. The Equaliser.Sorting out the russians with a corkscrew etc.Gruesome but brilliant
I know there are are millions more.Film directors should be saluted. Some amazing stuff over the years

The end scene of Train , Planes and automobiles - Starting with the the realisation scene on the train , through to the waiting room then the finale at home where John Candy smiles at the very end.
Super charged emotive stuff.

The last scene in "Stand by me", when the writer is doing the voice over about what happened to each of them, and he says about River Phoenix's character, Chris Chambers, dying, and as he says it, the character fades away on screen.
Even more emotive since River Phoenix died.

The one in The Pianist when he finds a tin of food and desperately tries to open it , in order to eat the contents as if he had never ever eaten before. But unexpectedly, there walks in the death, staring at him. ****! Then he plays the piano with such hunger, like he had never played it before, and the death then pays him back for it with a new lease of life.

Actually, even better one is when the death itself is in captivity, asking desperately about the pianist that it once set free <no suitable emoticon to describe my feeling about that visual; just a sigh>.

The ambush in Clear and Present Danger is a good one.
The Team America speech Jonnys3 mentioned is brilliant.
The only recent one I can think of is in Kingsman, the bit with Mark Strong in the plane, if you've seen it. Don't want to give too much away as it's a newish film.
