Right hand side adverts on Scoobynet.....
They've suddenly re appeared again and I can't get rid of them! Is it just me?
Viewing in Safari if it makes a difference!

Yes I got it aaswell.. In Safari.. Mine jumps all over the place with adverts.. Click on a subject and it loads the one above or below because of all the ads

Yes, same prob here. I thought it was my iPad effing up because my cat walked on it, but now I guess that SN has minimised itself in order to highlight adverts. Or the adverts have maximised themselves in order to take the shine off Scabbynet. One of them, anyway.

Looks to me like someone has been messing with the layout of the page, as the option to change your theme is usually at the bottom of the page.
I think there's a <tr> missing from just after the <!-- /content area table --> comment
If I put one in, it makes it a little better. I'm not about to go debugging this, well, not unless someone at IB wants to pay me my usual consulting fee

I was about to post a thread on this. It's bloody hopeless now - text on main page is far too small and the adverts take up 50% of the screen.
Total joke.
Does anyone ever click on the ads anyway? Tire rack is the worst and 99% of people on the site can't buy from them anyway!!

I darn't speculate (ok I will), there could well be a shed load of legacy stuff in this forum fouling it up.
For example, there is some of SDB's stuff is still on here: I know that in the past the model logos/badges (
and "my scooby" ( 
)avatars that were inherited from SDB caused issues with site speed.I voted to get rid of them on that premise, but nothing happened, Its not supported for newer models and we still get people asking for additional models to be added to them (hatchback etc), when its not been possible for years upon years.
