Cyclist 0 Me 1
Wasn't going to post this, but fancy a bunfight so sod it
Crossing the road on a zebra crossing on Liverpool Road in Castlefield Manchester last night a car had stopped and I and a mate were at the mid point of the crossing when I saw a cyclist approaching from the left. At first I thought he was going to stop so I carried on crossing, but another couple of paces and I realised he had no intention of stopping. He was looking straight at me and expecting me to stop walking so he could cycle by.
I hesitated but then thought **** it, he should have to stop assuming he would stick the anchors on at the last minute. Well he did stop, but only when he collided with me and he fell off his bike. I hadn't noticed his headcam until a guy on the pavement laughing at him suggested he stick it on YouTube! Somehow I doubt he will. I was uninjured thankfully, but didn't think to say anything to him as was a bit surprised at what had happened. Pity as I would have like to have told the gormless **** what a bell end he was.
Sorry, but there are an awful lot of these types on bikes right now and along with the increasing number of ******** car drivers they are making the roads a crap place to be.

Agreed. Not long ago I came up to a roundabout in my car. Its a bit of an awkward one coming out of the local Tesco. Its a straight road with the roundabout plonked in it to access Tesco. I look to my left and see the cars stopping to give way. I move onto the roundabout and this bike comes screaming down on the left and as he's going so fast I couldn't really turn any harder so I end up squeezing him into the railings that protect the footpath. He then starts waving and complaining at me. I pull over to see if we wants to complain properly properly and just keeps going making w*nker signs at me.

Can there not be one thread where you don't have to stick your nasty sniping snidy little comments in? I know from your somewhat chequered history on here that you derive some sort of pleasure from poking and prodding people for a reaction, but judging by the relentlessness of it really you seem to have some sort of problem!!! You laughingly insist Telboy was the one with the issues back in the day and then Jack of course, but all along plainly it is you! Get some help before you do it to someone with less morals than I and you get a good smack in the gob for your troubles!

F1, you must be talking lies. We are constantly told by our two-wheeled friends how cyclists running through red lights and pedestrian crossings never hurts anyone, unlike all those nasty cars!

Amy and I watched a female plough through a red light at a junction on the way home on Tuesday night. Us and the car in front couldn't safely pass on the run up to the traffic lights at a crossroads junction so hung back therefore just missing the green lights and having to stop. Cyclist carried on and turned left just as the traffic to our right went straight over. Cue horns beeping and hand signals.
Brilliant!
In fairness, she was actually wearing a helmet and the bike was kitted out accordingly, but she still managed maximum div points for the manoevre. I tutted.

Running lights and crossings is completely out of order. But standing in the line of a cyclist, car or bus is asking to be seriously injured. Cyclist s generally have self preservation as a priority like pedestrians should of, keep behaving like that and you might be posting from a hospital bed.

What does this even mean? I have been reliably informed by PM since my post 8 this morning that you have a drink problem. If that is the case (and I have my doubts) then apparently because of that I should go easy on you. No chance, but do get some help if it's true!

Last week I was driving through the estate when I saw three pre-teen girls coming down a side road which is on a slight incline. Two were on cycles, one a tiny-wheeled alloy scooter.
Peripheral vision told me that they nwere going too fast to make the turn, so I veered wide.
Sure enough, two of the three went into the space I WOULD have been in. I slowed and hooted, only to be treated to a barrage of abuse and middle fingers.
Sigh........
However........I was also once riding my bike home when a junior school aged kiddy walking backwards was about to step off the pavement into my path, so I shouted at him to look out and he jumped back........his baggage mother then verbally attacked me, along the lines of, "Don't fookin talk to him like that you ******......."
Can't win. Think for other folks, save their skins, ......get abuse.......modern UK.
