Got a spare 20k
Probably the most sought after alongside the M5gs and rare as fk Mk4's, they are same as M5gs just gold plated and some plaque on.
1210LTDs are cheaper but not as nice IMO

20k tho....
They aren't the proper gold technics tho, the proper ones could only be won in the DMC competitions, Craze has about 3 sets IIRC..

Djs who mix using only a laptop = zero skill.
MMM, Craze, A-Trak, Q-Bert, etc all use Serato or traktor time coded vinyl, which uses a laptop to store all your record/mp3s on
The real skill and creativity comes from the DJ. Serato ot Traktor wont make you suddenly be able to do 3 click orbits etc etc

That's not just a laptop tho.
There is a big difference to creating music using the technology available, and simply loading up a laptop with some mp3s then hitting auto time...

I've got one set of the very last Mk5 models and I love it. I've done some mods ie offboard psu, headshell, acromat etc.
There is something so satisfying about playing my very early Hip Hop and Jungle vinyl. I can't mix to save my life but I'd love to have a second deck and a mixer!

My wife would love that!
Hey, pm me your address, I want to send you a CD. After all our banter over music I'd really like you to hear some real jungle and dnb. You tube links don't do the tracks justice.

McMc + Hyper D - best ever combo
Mc Mc ravers choice every time
Tribe of Isaschar had some proper tunes out - the remix is wicked, but this is one of my faves

Can't click on those links at the moment as at work. Stevie HD died a few years back didn't he? He featured on the track Junglist soldier which I have on vinyl and love. The Tribe of Issacher is an alter ego of Rebel MC?
All top music it's the kind of stuff I listen to.

Yer Hyper D sadly died in 98.
Mainly I mix old hardcore tunes now, still love jungle but early stuff around 94/95
Essence of Aura - Destiny - that tune was mint, had some wicked breaks in that
another of my faves is Dj Slam - Looking to the light - not that well know but is proper mental
