No, we should however be doing more to make sure they don't need to seek asylum in the first place as it will be cheaper in the long run, even if that involves a military presence in their home country.
As above we're struggling to cater for those already in the UK without adding further to the problem.

Yes, we should be prepared to take any from Libya as we are the reason they are seeking asylum. When I say we I don't mean me as I didn't vote for the fame seeking warmongering c**t in No. 10. Maybe they should all go and live with him and the saps who voted for him!

To say no is Racist. That's what we've been told for the last 10-15 years.
Cameron has a chance to prove he can stand up to Brussels, and say No!
Bollocks to the lefties and their "Heal the world" thinking. And while we're saying no, send some of them back who's already got in.

By your rule of thumb, not only should the big bad British take Libyan Asylum seekers, so should the other countries enforcing UNSC Resolution 1973 -

PS How's the primary school maths working for you?

are they met to seek asylum at the first country they come to out of there own?, if so, why travel all over the place to come here? shouldn't this be the real question, that needs to be fixed, so they don't go around half the world?
that's absurd

The UK takes on the 6th most amount of Asylum seekers out of 28 EU Member states. What exactly do you think is 'our fair share'? Let's take Portugal for instance, they took in a grand total of 440, same goes for Croatia.
