Looks like leaf rust.
Take a leaf to a decent garden centre, it'll probably need spraying.

Acceptable variant for 'missus' up there.
The worst I've seen when someone here put their missus as 'misuse'.

I'm quite good at killing em all lol
We had a variegated ivy type thing inside for about two years
I think it basically dropped a leaf a week. Until I admitted defeat and heaved it

That'll take for ever, just taking one leaf at a time.

You can spray them, the spray protects against greenfly too.
At our French place, we have two honeysuckles. One gets greenfly and has to be sprayed or they almost kill it. The other one, they don't go near. Very odd.

Mites aren't aphids.

Never heard of horticultural oil, mind. My young trees in France have a 4" high layer of THICK horticultural grease called GLU around the trunks, otherwise they are covered in ants which makes all the leaves curl up....maybe greenfly are there?

I'd prune it fairly hard then spray. Sweep up all leaves and pruned bits. dl

The photo looks very similar to what my neighbours plants looked like a couple of days after I sprayed them with weed killer.
