Default Clicking the wrong forum/post

Does anyone else end up clicking the wrong forum or post when opening Scoobynet? I'm starting to think it's just me. The problem is caused by the Advert to Upgrade to a Plus Subscription loading last and bumping the page down. I've never installed Ad Blocking before but might have to as it's driving me insane.

No, it doesn't happen to me very often at all. When I click on the wrong thing, I realise that I made the mistake, I get rid of it, and then I get back to clicking on the right thing. I'm quite mindful with things like that.

Thank **** for that, I thought it was just me as I had no response in Bug Reports.

dpb, the last update for the Playbook was 2013, you're definitely not protected.

Not just you! I actually put a post in the site section about this very thing a few months ago, don't even think anyone replied even.

It's the only site it happens on for me as it's down to the Notices box loading at the top. Open the site, go to press a link and the 'Notices' box at the top loads, shifts the page exactly enough to make your finger land on the forum section above! Very annoying.

Surely they could ditch it or somehow set the space, so even when it does load it just fills the same size space rather than growing the page?

It's a browser not an OS issue. Does it in Chrome on both Windows and (the vastly superior) IOS and also depends on your user status on SN!

Happens to me all the time if I click too soon. I always have to wait for the ad at the top to load before I click on anything.

If you scroll to the top and press your refresh button and watch you'll see the problem is the 'Notices' box appearing which then shifts the forum down. The powers that be could sort this easily I'm sure. It is really annoying.

Ironic that a feature to try to get people to pay makes the place look shoddy and encourages ad blocking.

I reckon it'll have to be Vax or Henry.
For what you mention, you definitely need more than 1 vacuum. Just buy a Henry for the dirty jobs and something else for straight forward cleaning. Using 1 vacuum for all is just wrong.

I have 3 here, 1 in the garage, 1 upstairs, (a Hetty ) and a Dyson Animal downstairs that sucks like an ex! The Dyson is a very recent purchase having bought a Vax that was appalling and was demoted to the garage.

We've gone back to a Dyson for indoors after trying a few, well the wife did, as she uses it. This thing has a "dump valve" lever to enable you to actually vacuum without lifting the carpet. If you don't use the lever you cannot push the machine forwards at all sometimes.

Time will tell if it continues as good.
