I was good but seemed to jump whole stages of the restoration process - engine in, and suddenly it's painted, it's not quite".........is Born" as an example.
Glenister is a good lad but the scripting is nearly as staged as TG was. But not a bad programme to watch on catch up and get 15 minutes of your life back. I hate adverts

Although, what with their ever increasing budget, they farm out more and more jobs to specialists. So they don't spend so much of the time showing some of the resto, in detail (compared to the early series).
Talking of which, anyone else been watching the latest series - they've 'opened their own work garage in the US'.

That's why I like the Wheeler Dealer's format - just right.

Its a very watchable show, but I preffered when they left the last show of the series for the auctions, as said they seemed to skip a lot of the restoration detail this week.
The price of certain classic cars is getting crazy now, the Channel 5 Classic Car show is worth a watch on Thursdays with Jodie Kidd.

4Star Classics have an E30 Evo Sport up at a smidge under £100k at the moment. There is also an RS200 up for £155k on Ebay, so wasn't a one off as such. The jump in the last ten years has been like the housing market bubble tbh. Even 325i MTech Sports are into 5 figures if clean, yet you can buy a less fashionable 190e 2.6 Mercedez Benz with change from £5k to insure it, service it and tax it for three years!
