I won this in a raffle on Friday............
a 1966 England Football top signed by the legendary Sir Geoff Hurst M.B.E .
Thirty-Six years ago, Sir Geoff Hurst went into the history books as the only soccer player to score a hat-trick in a
World Cup Final.
Sir Geoff Hurst played for England 49 times and scored 24 goals, but no other game will be as hotly debated as the
1966 World Cup Final and the second goal he scored in that game.
Geoff Hurst’s third and hat trick goal came with only 10 seconds left in the game. A game that put him in the
record books forever.
The signed top is in the same style as worn by Sir Geoff and the other winning players in the 1966 final.
The top is a unique item, as no other player has scored a hat-trick in a World Cup Final, and he only sign's 5 football tops a year!!!
