Default glass cutting

Has anyone ever had a piece of curved glass cut? Issue is that my parents have just had a new kitchen installed and not realised when fitting the cooker hood that the doors hit the sides of the hood. I was thinking a glass company could cut the edges down as not to damage the edges!? Any help much appreciated.

BUT: you could have a piece cut to size, then hardened. Won't be cheap, but maybe worth it.

you would also have to pay to have it curved as well as toughened,it will cost you a small fortune, that is if you can find anyone to do it,another option maybe is to fix door stays that stop the doors opening to their full throw, you can set the opening swing to stop the door before it hits the hood

Thanks gents. I'll have a look at the door stops. The fitters might have done it if shes told them about it. They had to go back an set all the door and drawer levels yesterday anyway. I didnt think the cutting was a viable option but worth the ask.
