Yes,Ronin great but think Matt Damon in the mini in Bourne probably the best

Ronin for me. Gets your adrenaline going more than any other. Bourne was good though.

Obviously you've got yer classic Vanishing Point and Bullit, but can't compare in the adrenaline stakes.

In fact Bullit isn't all that in that regard... Just that the 'Stang, Charger, McQueen, the baddies, the setting etc. makes it memorable and iconic.

I think a funny film called Blue Streak had some good car action in it.

And you are right. I realised my typo and rectified it. But you must have quoted it at the same time as I was editing it.

Therefore, I can understand how you must have felt:

I don't often like remakes but Canonball Run is surely calling for an update..

I can see it now, Aventador in the opening credits and easily enough great modern cars to fill the rest of the cast. I'd just want to hear natural exhaust sounds and without CGI.

Not sure if we have enough comedy actors to fill the roles though. Well maybe Jim Carey in a wacky jap mobile..

'Cheating' though. The film for that sequence was famously undercranked by 25% at 18fps... So when played back at the normal 24fps, it looked faster than what it actually was.

Still, it was exciting though. (And it's not as is if that technique isn't still used ).
