Default Best companies you have dealt with

For anything really!

For me,Watch band centre in Germany and Hennie Haynes>phenomonal service, efficient, great staff.Certainly not my faceless BMW dealer experience.

Just companies who other companies should take a leaf out of their book .MX5 parts high on the list too

Keith Michaels insurance (I.e Moley)

I have to say I found Moleys approach delightfully refereshng, considering the car insurance industry generally has a pretty bad reputation.

John Lewis, when dealing with TV warranty recently. Very slick, as was their small independent repairer so far.

Richard Henry Motorsport.
Moley @ KM Insurance.
AS Performance.
Scoobyclinic.
Cotcomp.
Camskill.
Funky Tyres.
Rallytech.

To be honest I only use companies with a good reputation. All of the above have supplied me with good service and reasonable charges. I wouldn't hesitate in using any of them.

Carnetix in Melton, so laid back but it all comes together beautifully and Moley, the least conversation I've ever had getting the S202 insured

Yeah John Lewis are always very good

I buy some parts for my Landcruiser from

http://www.milneroffroad.com/

And they are always brilliant, any problems or a question with an order and you speak helpful person - who obviously works for the company

I bought a belt once that was too small - my mistake, but they still sent a replacement part before I had sent mine back

Great service

GJD - part of my home security system uses their external sensors which are now over 10 years old. I took these apart at the end of summer to clean them and ensure they were good for winter. One of the covers shattered in my hand when trying to remove it, and I noticed the others were crazed and cracked. I contacted the company to buy replacements, they asked for my address and asked how many I wanted, and posted the lot to me free of charge. I was surprised having told them the failed part was about 10 years old and impressed at the same time.

Holdcroft Honda dealership in Stoke. although I live in NI, I use Holdcroft for all my service items, thier standard of service and customer care as excellent. My accord is first registered after the end of its MY. This caused the wrong fuel filter to be despatched, Holdcroft shipped a replacement immediately, and arranged collection of the errant part. On the most recent delivery, the packaging had been damaged and there was a 1L bottle of Castrol 0w30 missing. They reshipped this without quibble, oh and they are more competitively priced than the two local dealerships.

Maghera tyre centre - Ran by a lad who used to be a member on here. It requires me to make a 116 mile round trip to get new boots on the motors, but I can be assured that my car and its wheels are in good hands, even using half a tank of SUL or 1/4 tank of diesel, he is still cheaper than most, and the service has been consistently high for over 10 years.

Generally it's the independants that have provided me with the best customer service.

For cars TDI NORTH in Warrington and Grinspeed near Preston. Both utterly impeccable. Locally, Ady's Autos. When I absolutely lose the will to see a job through, he always sees me right!
Furniture Village in Cheltenham. Only used once but top marks.
Most local firms for dry cleaning, Bread, Coffee that sort of thing.
Severn Trent Water (far more efficient in our area than Thames and cheaper. (We're on the borderline for "jurisdiction").
Sky. Actually found them good to deal with.
Our builder. Got let down by another and James made a project very easy to cope with.
A+ Carpet Cleaners near us have been overwhelingly good. Stroud.
Able Pest Control (Local). Cirencester
Ted Baker in London. Very slick sales outfit, even for the most cynical
Claridges. Sublime service at Afternoon Tea. A stay is out of my budget
Carpet Giant in Yate. Accurate, prompt, good vfm and courteous fitters.
Waitrose Stroud/Cirencester. Great staff. Sort **** ups quickly too.
Fabric Mills Cirencester. Prompt, personal good quality for blinds/curtains.
Tile Barn/Redbrook Kitchens in Winchcombe. Again great service and great products/choice. Expensive but don't sneer at those of us at the very top end of our budgets.
Shakeaway in Bath. Milkshakes. Awesome!
Ben's Cookies Bath. Er Cookies. Awesome!
The Village Pub Barnsley nr Cirencester. Well drilled staff, which makes dining as a Chef that bit nicer. Good food too just a shame about the typical "London pricing policy" that is rife around here.
Rick Stein's Fish and Chip Shop Padstow. Despite the price, I'm yet to be disappointed or feel mugged.
Granny Wobbly's Fudge in Tintagel. Passionate Staff great product!
Baz n Fred's Pizza. Simply the best pizza I have ever had and they are a top pair. They do food festivals/Music Festivals/Weddings. Very good stuff.
Oooops a Daisy Florists for those I've annoyed the missus moments! Any budget, they always do me proud.
Costa Cirencester. I don't even need asking what I would like. I pay and it's waiting and given how much I drink, they've yet to drop the ball. Impressive tbh!

I think with the local thing you get a more personal experience. It's different in bigger towns sadly but that's the way generally.

Japspeed customer service is excellent, i ordered a part from them in error and dropped them a fairly ****y email believing they were at fault. I got an immediate and very polite response and an apology even though they very nicely explained it was actually my error which it was and they then bent over backwards to help. They sent me the correct item which was a more expensive part at no extra charge to me and delivered it the next morning with a courtesy call to check it had arrived. Credit where its due

Costco are very good

I recent had the remote on a 4 1/2 year old Panasonic TV stop working they assured me that under the 5 year warranty if they couldn’t supply a genuine new Panasonic remote they would give me a full refund. This guarantee is supplied free when you buy the TV from them.

A quick call to the help line and they sent me a brand new Panasonic remote

-GPZ Zone for all of my Kawasaki spare parts, always fast, efficient and cheaper than the stealers.

-DPD couriers with their text update service giving you the delivery time to within an hour.

-Battistinis Custom Cycles which used to be in Bournemouth, after Corbin USA screwed up my order they sorted everything and even honored Corbin USAs price.

+1 for Costco. Their electronic aren't the cheapest but if anything goes wrong there is no quibble at all.

Motorpoint - I was wary of buying from them but the service they offered was nothing I had experienced with any car dealer in the past, totally hassle free and easy to use / contact etc

Ocado - when a bottle of milk leaked all over our shopping, the driver diligently went through all the stuff making sure it was clean. When a similar thing happened with a bottle of Flash cleaner on a Sainsburys delivery, the driver said "you can either refuse the delivery or take it as it is". Having no chance to get out to do the weekly shop, we had a week of food that tasted suspiciously lemony.
