The "London look" down here is a permanently bemused expression, ultra pale skin, effeminately coiffed hair and clothes from the wardrobe of the Top Gear crew - on the beach.

You also MUST have a black SUV, talk too loudly and take photos/videos of your every single move while trying to appear a bit "crazy" and way out.

IN the USA the Birtish have a stereotype of the British having bad teeth (Austin Powers is a classic example).


The "London look" is living up to this god awful NHS dentistry stereotype and I dare say that she was chosen because of her teeth.

I can't speak for her, but maybe she just didn't see the gap in her teeth as something as awful as some on here seem to think it is.

I have a gap between my front teeth, and as has been touched on, it isn't a sign of 'bad teeth'. We are all made with differing features, this is just an example of that, not bad as such. I'd class bad as rotten, chunks missing, dirty, full of fillings or just missing all together. As of this point in my life, I'm stuck with a gap, but none of the rest, so not all bad.

I was given a brace when I was young and it made no difference, so the only other option was some operation that I was told may or may not work. I decided to just accept the gap as even at a young age, I didn't really want to mess about having potentially pointless minor surgery.

I think the point you are quite blatantly missing here is that the advert is not actually aimed at some old, possibly single (or unhappily married perhaps?) ugly, unfashionable, socially inept trainspotter with anger management issues.

And as a result what you think is of no relevance whatsoever to the advertiser.
