Default "Constructed from brick elevations"

Yes I see this often written on the blurb for a property they are pimping by one estate agent around here.

So it has brick walls then!?

Why are you looking at property? What have you done to contribute for owning another property? I hope you are selling your current property if you are moving....

I would also ask why you are looking at property for sale? I thought you didn't believe in private property ownership in keeping with your land enclosure act blurb?

Funny definition of greed, being able to use shelter.

It's not being able to use shelter - it's wanting to exert ownership and control over it and thus deny its use to others.

The alternative I am presented with is otherwise to lets someone else own and control the roof over my head.

Would you have had slaves not run away because it didn't overturn the institution of slavery?

Whether you rent a house as a tenant or own a house subject to a mortgaged loan from whoever lends you the money to buy it, someone else is still controlling the roof over your head...

I assume that when you signed your mortgage application you signed it as Mr de Wonderful (property is theft, man)?

No?!

Wow, I thought you were a man of principle

You could call it the least worse option.

I never chose this system. At least as an owner of my residence I won't have to pay anyone rent, and I'm not owning the roof over someone elses head (which seems to be many of SN'ers purpose in life).

In summary TDW can and will attempt to blame everything on the buy to let (BTL) scheme. Up to and including the current ebola outbreak.

There's a difference between having to accept it because you can't do anything about it, and reveling in a system which allows one to get ahead by treading on someone else.

So if I moaned about it first and then did it anyway would that make it better? That's really hypocritical as it means it's ok for you to do but then you label others as reveling in the system when they have to survive within the same.
