Scottish Independence Vote - Post your prediction here..
or don't if you've had a belly full already...
With a few days to go before the votes are cast, and recent poll still showing a close result, let's see who can get the closest to the actual result on Thursday.
My prediction
Result: NO
Percent: No 56% Yes 44%
Edit: Please use this thread for questions or discussions on the referendum itself. I want to leave this thread just for the predictions.
Thanks

I have some question which I'm yet to get a satisfied answer with:
What is all of this costing the English tax payer?
And if 'Yes' goes through will I as a English resident see my taxes being spent on faffing around with the implementation of this independence.....or will Scotland be paying for it - as its 'their' decision, not ours.
It'll be beggars belief if the English tax payer has a bigger tax burden to pay for this and teh ramifications if it all goes awry. Piggy backing off the English economy certainly doesn't bode well with me, and I guess by the supposed 'leaked' industry rumours, the commercial and financial sectors aren't pleased about it either.
The end of the day Scotland's success at being independant will not be down to its leaders...but down to what the economic players will dictate. We know how powerful banks are; as they brought a good chunk of the world's economies to its knees.

Sorry fella, I lost track and waffled on
I'm guessing its a No for the win; But its going to be close. But I bet turn-out will be higher, but not exceed 70%
Now the economic players have piped up - those who have the power over the politics. Uncertainty makes for a poor market which makes for a poor economic future. It'll hurt the public's wallet, I think people are starting to realise this goes alot further than national pride will.

I reckon itll be "fixed" ! The uk gov messed up by letting this happen and somewhere they will adjust the count accordingly ,, so itll be a slim win for the no campaign and a big slagging match afterwards that achieves nothing

Well, basically, since the banks have shown their negativity, the poll is more leaning towards 'NO'. You see, money makes the earth move. I think people are waking up to that fact, and re-thinking.
What I can do meanwhile is sit on the fence (copyright Leslie) and wait.
