Default Blue car - what wheel colour?

Not a Scooby but a Mazda 6 in a similar colour to the WR Blue.

What wheel colour is best with this sort of blue other than gold as that should be reserved for Scoobs?

Will black work or is it too dark against the blue?

Just wondering what colour to paint the alloys on my latest daily hack as they need a bit of TLC.

Great suggestions so far

OK, maybe I should have been more succinct.

Black, gun metal, standard silver or bronze?

What's the extra cost per colour and will it add more at resale?

No extra cost per colour as a mate is doing it .... it is just a rub down, prime and paint/lacquer job, not powder coating.... it's a 10yo daily hack so not worth spending a fortune on. I just want to smarten them up a bit.

Yeah that's the way I'm thinking too. Black will be too much with the blue I think and silver is too boring.

Here's my old car which had black wheels on a bright blue coloured car. I think it works and looks quite mean. I guess it depends what you're after but anthricte would be a good middle ground. More interesting than silver but not as 'in your face' as black.

That looks good actually, but it's a nicer looking car than a Mazda 6 so that might have something to do with it. Thanks for posting, may go for black after all.

Gun metal every time - goes so well with blue.

The M135i has slightly grey wheels - they hide dirt much better than silver!

I thought this was a good combination, looks even better in the flesh, the wheels are Ultralight G-grids, don't know what the colour is called but it had a slight blueish tinge, was supposed to be gunmetal.

Very true, except I have to look at it and it's bad enough without the tatty wheels

Silver, anthracite or a dark anthracite almost black but not black. Black is pants against blues. Orange works if you want to be a coont. Mind you no harm as you will already be one by driving a Mazda.

I'll join in this conversation, trying to decide a wheel colour to go with Estoril Blue.

I fancied gloss black to match the trim on the car but not sure...

Silver, boring maybe, but a clean and shiny set of silver wheels always looks good. Black never works for me, always look like steels without wheeltrims from a distance, you lose the detail of them
