You should try Stanstead, they have Dick Turpin and he has you for £3.00, I guess it's London weighting.

I know £1 isn't much, but it's the principle. WHY do I need to be forced to pay to drive into an area which is large and should be free?

This country.....the main aim of everyone seems to be to separate people from their money as fast as possible.

In France an English guy scraped my bumper. We agreed not to do insurance, (he was in a hire car anyway), and I've just had a quote from a place that has so-called fixed prices, one of which is "Bumper repair and respray, £175."

My quote? £297!!!

I got dropped off in the long stay car park there and it's free , just press the buzzer at the barrier to get out , I did the exact same when I dropped the old dear off.
15 mins free iirc , did you go in via where the new builds are going up or the other entrance?....

It is a £2 drop off charge for 15 minutes at Luton Airport and as a result witnessed people dropping off and unloading luggage on the roundabout on the approach road just outside the drop off point. You now have to pay an £80 fine for the privilage or if you overstay the 15 minutes in the drop off area.

If you are playing taxi to collect (I'm assuming you will have come from bawtry road here!) ,turn right at the first lights where the large new build estates are going up and carry straight on....you will (should!) end up in the long stay , it's a 60 second walk into the terminal

So that will bring you over the train lines and to the roundabout where you chuck a right then turn left at the lights....
I'll save you a £1
Don't turn left at the lights , carry on down the road to the next lights , chuck a left !200 metres turn left again and it takes you to the long stay end

I assume there is a barrier to enforce the £1 collection?
