Default 120pc tool set, halfords 1 day offer £60 quick!

Seen this offer on another forum.
Belive it's a 1 day offer online only (reserve and collect)
I've just reserved one myself, be rude not to at that price

http://www.halfords.com/motoring/gar...ersizzler120pc

Get it quick as the offer may be gone by tmr.

Very good price... I did some research into socket sets a few months ago and apparently the Halfords Professional range is Draper just rebranded for Halfords.

Very tempted to that set because of the price but I don't need anymore sockets .

Yeah there are good range and if you break anything apart from wrench, halfords replace quibble free.
Yeah I didn't need it either but it's handy having 2 sets of tools when working on cars, save the hassle using socking and spanner at same time etc

I bought the bigger version of that around Xmas time t replace my last Halfordsset I bought about 10 years ago! Great tools IMO for the home mechanic.

Tempted to buy that one as a spare, purely for the price.

To make this worthwhile, I'd be happy to see this go back to full price tmr, then I know it's not just an online marketing tactic.

Seems like I'm the only one to resist the temptation! The main reason is that I spent a stupid amount on an 3/8" 11 piece Bluepoint (SnapOn's sister company) socket set so I need to prove to myself that I can get my monies worth out of this set and that it was worth the price!

I bought the same one on sale years ago, seems to be on sale more than it is on normal retail price TBH, still a pretty decent bit of kit though I've put mine through it's paces and haven't broke anything.

Bugger, £80 now. Don't need a set but at £60 was a worthy addition to keep shiny

Halfords are always doing the socket sets at 50% off, very rarely are they at the full price shown.

I picked up the 200 piece set for £150 in May, Fantastic set

I also have a smaller set from 15+ years and the ratchet plays up (doesn't lock in either direction but gets stuck in the middle) I mentioned that in local branch and was told to pop it in for a replacement

Tempted by this too !!

http://www.halfords.com/motoring/gar...et-spanner-set

£200 for the lot is a good price

Just collected mine too, for £60 it's excellent value. Never sure why some on here call them 'Halfrauds'; I've bought plenty of kit from them and never felt that I've been done.

addicted to tools, so have bought it as well - the clincher being the selection of imperial sizes

which I found I needed when working on my Lawn Tractor and Outboard Motors
