I bet this film makes the husbands feel so good. 
It does happen with some people. Men or a women, they tend to go for similar looking persons for a partner. Like some men say they always go for blondes, and some women say that they always go for very tall men.
I know a person who always finds women with striking resemblance to his mother. I also know a woman who's most comfortable with the men who look and behave like her father.
I think humans are generally looking for people who provide us the care their parents provided or should have provided. Similar characteristics, and yes, physical resemblance would be a bonus for some.
It's easy to say "I will never sleep with a person who looks like my mother or father" but in reality, unconscious wishes can make things happen that one could be totally oblivious of.
