Just for a bit of fun I thought I'd see who your local legends are. In Liverpool we grew up in the shadow of someone known as Purple Aki, a very large and somewhat unusual sexual predator who would want to feel your muscles while you did squats. For years he inhabited the no mans land between reality and urban legend until he was caught and prosecuted under a number of charges related to his 'thing' for boys muscles. Until then he was just a bogeyman but has since become part of popular culture. A quick Google search will turn up tons of information if you're curious but this YouTube video sums it up pretty well (probably nsfw).
