Hi all,

Looking for some recommendations for a decent pub not too near the centre of St Albans for a beer and bite to eat after the St Albans 1/2 Marathon on Sunday (8th June)

Any recommendations?

Ye Olde Fighting ***** is pretty good, supposidly the oldest pub in Britain.

Second on Ye Olde Fighting *****, not sure on the oldest though as Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem in Nottingham is also supposed to be the oldest...

Good luck with the half, weather looks good and plenty of my club are running.
