The chilcott inquiry
So we the public are allowed to see 'doctored/censored' transcripts of the conversations between Blair and Bush in the run up to the illegal Iraq invasion.
What are they trying to hide?

It will be very interesting to see/read their overall findings based upon these communications and the reams of other evidence they have had. There is generally a high regard for Chilcott and his panel, they are good people who will report the facts as they see them.
The problem is that whatever they find, people will now have an excuse to say ‘cover-up’, which totally undermines the whole point of the enquiry

It's all pointless anyway. If there's something someone doesn't want you to know, they aren't going to tell are they? Whatever question is asked, you'd only get half an answer.
The bottom line is the Western powers wanted an armed presence in the Middle East and Saddam's mouthing off gave them all the excuse they needed.
Did they do wrong? in hindsight it doesn't look good, but in the days after 9/11 it was all about taking the fight somewhere else. Certainly no government out there fancied taking the Yanks on while they were parked on their doorstep in Humvees.

TBH people have worked it all out with their own imagination years ago. We all know that both of them were in love with each other. What else do we want to know?
Tony B is well supporting this upcoming public disclosure, because he has played well since his departure as a PM. His opposition party has no issue with him, and he's not bothered what public think of him. I think he'll live on. No one can do anything about Bush, as he lives in America.
