They do- in backward cultures where females are treated like third grade citizens; where what 'people' say is more important than what would make their own child happy. Pride causes prejudice against one's own. Worse because she's was a female. India is also like that, not just Pakistan.

I bet poor Muslim kids the world over are split on whether they can eat a Creme Egg without getting a slap off their folks or peers. It's getting bizarre.

I think right/far-right parties/groups opposing extremism should make more of the fact they do so to also secure a safe life for Muslim Women and Children.
