Obviously. As the article says, it's to do with 'Iran's interpretation of Islam'.

Ah yes, like that of our friends in the Sudan and Somalia and Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and those silly mis-interpreters of Islam in al-Qaeda and the Taliban and Boko Haram. Even though they're commanded to emulate a warmonger and their central texts are absolutely peppered with mandates for violence they're absolutely in the wrong...Islam is being misunderstood, it's a religion of peace.

Your new found saviour isn't exactly a paragon of virtue.

Jesus never, ever, taught "peace on earth" apart from His Kingdom.
Jesus said that His peace is not the peace of the world [John 14:27]. It is peace between God and man [Romans 5:1].
Jesus said His message would be divisive--even inciting violence, but not unifying and peaceful [Matthew 10:33-35].
Jesus used illustrations of war when He taught His followers [Luke 14:31]
Jesus said there would be many more wars to come [Matthew 24 and others]
Finally, consider this: Jesus said there would be no real peace on earth until He returns to establish His kingdom and reign with His saints. Jesus is the ultimate peacemaker. But before He reigns, He will be a militarist king, leading the mightiest army ever, into a battle so devastating, that blood will flow like rivers and the earth as we know it will be destroyed [Revelation 19].

This is refuted in the comments section of the very page you lifted this from, Maz.

Yes. I believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate and therefore the creator of the universe. With this in mind I believe that He is and was capable of suspending the natural laws that He created. It necessarily follows that if He can do that, then he can literally walk on water.

The latter. As a theistic evolutionist I believe Adam and Eve to be an allegory for the first of the higher mammals to have had the moral law written on their hearts.

You're adapting and interpreting something completely unsubstantiated to fit in with your own version. Bit of a cop out.
