If he really said it - maybe. But he makes too much money for the beeb so it'll never happen and if it did he'd just take Top Gear to ITV much like Wossy did with his show when fired.

First thing to find out is whether he is about to release another book, he normally says or does something outrageous just before launch so there is massive headlines and masses of publicity. All coincidence of course

What a load of fuss about bu99er all.
Was it directed at anyone in particular, black or otherwise?
Or was he just reciting an age old rhyme learned in his childhood, like most of us might do from time to time?
Absolute non-event.
And if it's carefully crafted as a PR stunt, well what a clever boy he is then, 'cos it's worked, hasn't it.

TBH I've never heard the derogatory rhyme before. My childhood was mainly "hip dip dog ****," can't say I was brought up to say/sing racist things.

There was a time queer and gay were very pc words. I wonder how 'Eeny, meeny, miny moe catch a queer by his toe if he squeals let him go, eeny, meeny, miny moe"' would sit with the gay community.
