It was lethal enough to cause him a heart attack.
It's a shame they didn't do the same with the second piece of scum that was due that day too - he raped and murdered an 11 month old girl. They should have strung it out even further for him.

I think CP should be quick and painless as far as possible, so this is far from an ideal end to the problem, but he is dead as prescribed, so ho hum.

Implication is it went wrong because his veins were knackered from intravenous drug use.
I don't care about the murderer. IMO CP needs to be quick, painless and fuss-less. The people at the execution have to deal with what they saw/experienced today.
Kill them quickly and get on with life.

I don't agree with CP though, not because I don't think they deserve it, but there's just no way back when it's wrong.
