I had vague recollections of the original series, and recently re-watched it before going on to the US version.
The original was rather good, but does look somewhat dated and for those young people watching the US version, looking back to the UK at that time might seem a bit odd.
I do quite like the US version. I had hoped the first season would end in the same way as the UK version, but it did not, however, that was resolved to a suitable conclusion
Not trying to spoil things, but I am wondering if season three will be the final, much as with the UK version, where Frank finally gets his just desserts. We shall wait and see.
I think it's a great triumph for Netflix, as it shows that a TV Show can be successful on non-network TV.
