Default My business is going to do better next year so can I have a £1.7m bonus please?

The head of the co-op bank gets to keep his £1.7m bonus based on future performace despite a massive £1.3bn loss just annouced today.

Think I am going to adopt the same strategy as I am sure I will do better next year so will pay myself a nice fat bonus this year .... not sure where it will come from as I don't have lots of cash in the back.... oh hang on neither does the Co-op so maybe I will ask them for it as they seem happy to find it from somwhere for at least one person

GB (Civil Service) Ltd, is the countries biggest company and runs at a huge loss every year, yet disproportionate bonuses are being paid out to its management team and senior workers.

But nobody ever complains - even though that IS our money??

We can always issue another government bond and hence borrow even more money from the international banks to cover the shortfall, I guess.

I don't think any CEO (PM ) will ever have the ***** to tackle this properly. That makes me despair.

I agree 100%.

As long as there is more income (tax money) to pay for the rising cost, they can claim the books balance.

So what did F1_fan do to get banned? Or was his crime the same as Jacks and he simply got banned for prattling on about the same crap over and over again?

There's a code of conduct.

It could be any number of rules he violated.

- a months ban

Not good
Yes he winds some people up but he is a very witty guy who does know his stuff about lots of subjects

We need characters like F1 and Tubby to keep this place afloat as lets face it
Nothing else left to tally about woth subarus

I'm in full agreement, they are both worth having around.

What did Tubby get banned for I didn't even know?

I've read the thread; it's not that bad.
I suspect someone of a fragile disposition keeps bleating to the mods.
That's why I got banned from babybmw.net.

For most normal people a fragile disposition would be classed as a whiney ******.

It actually sadens me to see we are actually turning into an island made of whiney ******* that moan and take offense at just about anything.

The problem was they lost their ethical-ness, and tried to mix with the "big"
boys

A game at which they were obviously lacking

Yes, that's what I mean.

"Ooooh, he just argued with me and was horrid. Please ban him mr nice moderator man…"

I had it on DetailingWorld and Babybmw.net - can't help but rip some people to shreds, they bleat non stop (in between painting their D&D figures) and eventually the moderators take the easy route.

I think people find it all too easy to be "outraged" these days

I actually suffer from "outrage fatigue", as well as "grief fatigue" if I am honest

He's not a *****, he's just misunderstood.

There was a time I didn't like him as well but he kind of grew on me a bit. I quite like him nowadays.

It's a like a stray cat, when they first come into your home, they hiss at you and **** all over the place .. with time you learn to leave them alone and get used to the smell.

Nah he is a complete *****

How ever he is also a good sport and once you catch on to the calibre of person you're playing with he can actually be quite entertaining.

Even when I clashed with F1, I still didn't find him offensive.

What I DO find offensive is stalker weirdo types who follow you around being snide. Most of those seem to have gone which is great.

Love that Stephen Fry quote!

Tubby got banned too? result.

To be honest, I get fed up of reading all the posts from the same people, discussing the same old rubbish and when the argument should be left to die they just resort to childish name calling and inappropriate comments.

Its about time someone wielded the ban hammer, esp on tubby.

I'm not easily offended or outraged by anything on the internet. However I find his constant use of the terms ****, pr1ck, suck c8ck etc quite annoying.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't talk like that in real life because he'd get the **** kicked out of him ten times a day. So dropping these expletives with little reason on the internet just screams inadequacy/attention seeker/frustrated individual.

Imho

Agree, mummy and daddy obviously didn't give him enough attention as a child.

Shouldnt be on the forum and allowed to talk to people like that, and am glad someone dealt with it in the end
