Royal Mail pricing changes
So they've changed the prices slightly, across the board, but has anyone noticed they've changed the maximum insurance, for items going abroad?
I seem to remember the max was £500 value, but it appears to now be £250...?

Robbing b'stards.
I dread having to send anything via snail mail, if they don't lose it, it will usually be late.
Couriers are cheaper for parcels, signed for, and on time.

I have an account with the reliable UPS, but their charges are high, for small items.
Anything you need to add higher insurance to, whips the price up considerably in most cases it seems...

Yes I use UPS too.
Agreed some small stuff works out dearer but it's worth it to know it will arrive safely and on time.
There's nothing worse than sending stuff out and the customer calls and asks where it is, and all you can say is that Royal Mail have it somewhere.

This is what happens when you privatise things that shouldn't be privatised!
Look at the energy companies' reaction to being told they were going to be investigated for price fixing... their response was efffectively 'do that and we'll turn the lihgts off'!
Great idea this privatisation lark!
