Default Request for Midlands Scooby owner, from guy in the US

Hello all,

I'm Jim from the USA, and I need a part for my Forester. I was wondering if any of you guys would be interested in getting a part locally for me, and then shipping it here. All costs would be on me, of course, and I can pay with a secure payment using Paypal.

Here is what I need

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-FOR...item3a6ffe6005

send me a PM if this is something you would be interested in doing
thank you
Jim

Jim,
sorry mate but im really confused, if you have the ebay item of what you want then simply message the ebayer and see if he will post to you, if he wont then find one that does!

Im not too sure why you would want (or need) us to get involved, im not usually a suspicious guy, but!!!!!

I understand what you're saying. Unfortunately, certain JDM/EDM Subaru parts are close to impossible to source for a reasonable price in the US. So I'm stuck surfing European or Japanese auction sites. I'm finding that most of these shops overseas will not ship internationally. I've tried emailing the sellers directly. Most don't even respond. I figured this would be worth a shot.

And no worries. I've been hunting down obscure car parts for a long time. If you are familiar with the NASIOC message boards, I've been on that site for a few years, and can provide references that would vouch for me as a buyer and seller.

If anyone else was wondering how this would work..

I'd buy the part through Ebay and send the seller the money. You would pick it up at his shop. Once you had it, you would send me a quick picture to confirm. I would send you the money to ship the item to me in the US, plus a finders fee for your work. All the risk is on me. Thank you to anyone that wouldn't mind helping out a fellow Subaru collector.

I really appreciate it.
I'll go ahead and purchase the grille, and let them know that someone will be picking it up locally.

I'll send you a private message and we can finish up the deal there.

Not quite..

Anyone else care to help me out before I'm forced to pay through the nose to set up an international pick up? The grille is all paid for, just waiting at the shop to be picked up.

Anyone else care to take this on?

Grille is paid for and waiting at the shop.

Located at GARAGE DKU, UNIT 9, HOLLOWAY BANK, WEDNESBURY, WS100PA 01215024844

You'll just need to box it up and ship it to me in the US. I'm willing to pay for all shipping, gas/petrol and throw in some beer money for your trouble.

PM me if you are interested. I'll need to email you a copy of the transaction receipt to bring to the seller.
