Cheers Neal and Carstins for a great day out.

Was too chicken to show my skills (or lack of them ) on the 'fiat in the field'

STi Type UK was cool, better than a WRX but I don't rate it higher than a P1 so I don't think I'll be changing my car just yet

Cool

Hi,
Yeah it was a really good day - never thought a Fiat Uno could be so much fun

I drove the std WRX but that left me completely cold - it's not that's it's slow or anything but it feels too much like a "normal" car. Handling was worse than my MY00 (std suspension apart from TSL geometry) although ride was better.

STI did feel special - handling and ride were good, felt very solid. It is fast as well, just not as mental as the P1 (4 up in the P1 as well!!) - thanks for the ride Mike

Richard

PS Hi to the guy in the Legacy Turbo who I "bumped into" whilst I was testing the WRX - LOL!!

Was it a maroon one? If so that would be my mate Matt, had a text message to say that he had a 'play' with a WRX on the way up to Carstins

Cool

Yeah it was - it had a big exhaust on it as well. There was hardly anything in it, maybe the Legacy had the slight edge. Good fun though

Hi Guys

Glad you all enjoyed Sunday. I would just like to say a word of warning to everyone. Never! get in a car with Si !!!! if the Fiat driving is anything like his Scoob driving you are going to need more than a seat belt to keep you in

Hopefully you all managaged to get a drive in the STi7, what did you all think then ???

I thought it was a well finished car but seemed a little slow to pick up and the rear end was a lille loose but still very controllable in a slide (so I was told ).

A very big thank you to Martin and all the guys at Carstins for a fantastic afternoons entertainment.

Cheers

Neal
