Dear guys and gals,
I've done some of the preliminaries for "The Big One" video that me and a few others will be making. One question though - I need some suggestions for soundtrack.
Answers on a postcard, the winner will be drawn (and quatered) at random.
Cheers,
Rich

How about Police sirens? The theme tune to The Bill? :-)
Or some cheesy stock-music that you used to get on programmes for schools.
Something soft-rock introduced by Tommy Vance? "The Big One, Rock Classics. Twenty tyre screeching monsters to get your motor running. Not available in shops." etc. Brian May must appear on there, as must Deep Purple's "Smoke on the water", "Layla" by Eric Clapton, "Money for Nothin" by Dire Band, and maybe even "Whole lotta love" by the Zep.
Or given that 99% of us are 30+ IT geeks, perhaps something by Radiohead would suffice?
No, wait, wait. A bit of drum 'n' bass for the Max Power's amongst us :-)

Got plenty resources - 70GB of MP3 on a dedicated machine at work
Suggestions from work / friends so far include:
Jimi Hendrix - Purple Haze
The Offspring - Staring at the sun
Limp Bizkit - Rollin
Saltwater - Chicane
Chemical Brothers - Hey Girl, Hey Boy
Linkin Park - Anything (Sorry Laura!!)
I may just chop it all up, bung it into movie shaker and do 3 or 4 mixes.....
(Edited 'cos I'm crap!!)

Rich, yes mate but it's spot on.
Best to chop up a few tracks unless it's going to be an hour long.
I best have a shave and brush me teeth if there's a video camera about

Great ideas guys - may just be using one of them
For fun - I may do a mix to one of the corporate anthems on http://www.zdnet.co.uk/specials/2002/it-anthems/ - this has to be seen (and heard) to be believed!!
