recently got a wrx wagon (import) it has td05 turbo , stainless equal headers , hks mushroom fillter and sti remapped ecu . when i got it it was running fine but after 3-4 days of scaring my self its developed a kind off missfire , when drinving normaly at about 3000 revs it feels like it is searching and the throttle responce is a bit notchy . when i got it the last owner said he had just fitted new plugs and on checking they are ngk platinum ones he got off ebay (£11) before i start getting new coil packs would it be worth changing the to ngk or denso iridium ones or would this not matter

it could well be that the pevious owner had not spaced the plugs properly should be 0.7 iam sure as this is what mine are on my97 uk if you post this up in the tech forum you will get alot more help on the subject
